Transfer is just an object moving from one place to another eg. Wind blows and clouds move across the sky

Transformation change in substance/ state/ etc eg. Evaporation (liquid to gas) Carbon + oxygen -----> Carbon Dioxide

Growing crops reduces the nitrogen content from soil as plants get this nitrogen to grow.

Farmers add nitrate fertilizers, to give extra nitrate to soil.
